Google will invest some 3 billion euros in European data centers over the next two years. At least 600 million euros will go to Finland.
Where the rest of the amount goes is not yet known, a Google spokesperson said.
Google has data centers in Europe in Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Ireland. It is unlikely that part of this money will also go to the Netherlands.
Google recently announced that it is investing 1 billion euros in the Netherlands. That money is used to expand the existing data center in Eemshaven and to build a new data center in Hollands Kroon.
